Peak- and postsystolic global strain by Speckle Tracking Echocardiography (STE) in the radial (A - C), circumferential (D - F) and longitudinal (G - I) direction at baseline and after left anterior descending coronary artery occlusion. Measurements were performed with nine different combinations of spatial and temporal smoothing created by setting these parameters in turn to minimum, factory default and maximum. Mean values of seven animals, error bars represent SEM. Ps, Pt and Pi = P-value for the effect of spatial smoothing, temporal smoothing and interaction between these two adjustments, respectively.
