According to physiological background, FFR is steeper in controls vs DCM, previous MI, and hypertensive patients. A recovery contractile overshoot (with a relative increase of recovery contractility of more than 10% with respect to the exercise value) was more frequent in patients vs controls. Patients with stress-induced ischemia (upper middle panel) showed a flat contractile reserve at ischemia and a clear recovery contractile overshoot.
