Antero-posterior and latero-lateral outer diameters were measured in the transverse plane, at the largest portion of infrarenal aorta. The figure shows the good concordance of the two measured diameters between standard echocardiography (panel a) and PSID (panel b): 17.89 mm versus 1.77 cm and 17.11 mm versus 1.71 cm
