Patients with severe AS and LVEF < 50%. In our study, a total of 42 patients (14.5%) had an LVEF < 50%. During the mean follow-up of 48.7 ± 39.0 months, 29 patients (69.0%) underwent AVR surgery and 13 patients did not. Most patients with symptomatic LV dysfunction underwent AVR (83.3%), whereas only four patients with asymptomatic LV dysfunction underwent AVR and all were alive after AVR
